In a ceremony at Flemingberg\u00b4s Science, the\u00a0Minister expressed her appreciation that Cecilia Bergh and Per S\u00f6dersten\u00b4s research has been successfully translated into treatment of patients with eating disorders and attached the gold medal of the Royal Patriotic Society of Sweden to their jackets.<\/p>\n

The Chairman at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, Karolinska Institutet, Maria Eriksdotter, was impressed that the research has been translated into a treatment that has restored the health of many patients and she was proud that the work has been done at her department.<\/p>\n

Many\u00a0congratulators, including three patients honoured the medallists. Old treatments can be replaced, it\u00b4s time\u00a0for a paradigm shift.<\/p>\n
