The philosophy of the company emphasises the importance of joy and doing good for human kind, whereby resources are used effectively for patients to receive the appropriate level of care.<\/p>\n

The Mando Group was started by Dr Cecilia Bergh and Professor Per S\u00f6dersten after many years of research devoted to understanding eating behaviour and satiety at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden\u2019s foremost medical school.<\/p>\n

Research on the Mandometer Method has been published in several of the world\u2019s leading medical and scientific journals, such as the Lancet, PNAS, Nature Medicine and Frontiers in Neuroendocrinology. Cecilia Bergh, PhD<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Cecilia Bergh became interested in eating disorders at the beginning of the 1980s and wrote her doctoral thesis about bulimia\u00a0nervosa. Together with Per S\u00f6dersten, she developed the treatment method that is used today at the Mandometer and the Mandolean Clinics. Per S\u00f6dersten is a professor at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and Director of Research and Development for the Mando Group AB.
